Hello Riverscapes Community,
Our New Year’s resolution is to continuously improve our service to riverscapes and their advocates (you). And our riverscapes don’t need more dry Januaries, so we’re diving into the deep end now with an update to the Riverscapes community platform.
We want to make the community platform more useful and more engaging for everyone who cares about healthy riverscapes, and we need your input as we plan what’s next.
We started the Riverscapes community platform because people and groups doing the work for riverscapes felt alone. Riverscape challenges cross geography, expertise, and sectors – solutions for healthy riverscapes must too. Our goal for the Riverscapes community platform is to be a home that connects the many riverscape communities across regions, disciplines, and roles. When we can see, hear, and learn from one another, we all get more done for riverscapes.
Our update will focus on:
- Simplifying the platform structure and navigation
- Making it easier to know where to post
- Inspiring active participation and collaboration
- Highlighting the incredible work already happening across riverscapes
To do this well, we need your help.
Please take our short survey. Your feedback will directly shape upcoming changes to groups, navigation, content, and communication. And don’t worry about hurting our feelings… we want to hear it all.
We’ll be transparent throughout this process and share what’s changing and why. This is your community space, and we want it to work for you.
Thank you for being part of this growing network of people committed to restoring and sustaining healthy riverscapes. We’re excited to build the next version of this platform with you, not just for you.
